Alexander Solzhenitsyn, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1970

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was a Russian novelist, historian, and short story writer. Solzhenitsyn is noted for the ethical force with which he pursued the indispensable traditions of Russian literature.
